Resolutions from hui-a-iwi of 16th October 2010
Resolution 1:
"To approve the design concepts in principle, subject to further consultation with the beneficiaries of the reservation."
Resolution 2:
"Authorise and direct the Trustees of the Reservation and Ngati Tahu Tribal Trust to continue negotiating with Contact Energy Limited, all conceptual designs in principle for the new marae complex".
Resolution 3:
"To authorise and direct the Trustees of the Reservation and Ngati Tahu Tribal Trust to continue initial site works to re-establish the Ohaaki Marae at the new site with a view to completion within 3 years of the date of this meeting."
Resolution 4:
"Direct the Trustees to ensure that appropriate cultural observations are carried out as directed by the Kaumatua of Ngati Tahu before any physical works are commenced at the present Marae site."
Resolution 5:
"Direct the Trustees to give beneficiaries of the Reservation no less than two calendar months notice before commencing any physical works at the present Marae site."
